Olivia Kuhn

Ms Miley is a heifer Olivia purchased from Beshears Simmentals out of the 2016 Field of Dreams sale.  She has done well to this point in the show ring but her best days are to come with how she has responded on pasture after the show season.  She is moderate framed, deep bodied and has always been easy keeping.  This heifer always looked good on show day (great hair for a purebred) but with HPF Optimizer, Knockout, Upgrade and Two Step all in her pedigree, we are anxious to see what the progeny will look like out of this heifer.

Bred to HF Venus Two Step 74YC (ASA 3006001) on 5/6/2017

Luke Herr

Here is one that you really appreciate both phenotypically and genetically.  We showed her Dam successfully on the open circuit and also won our county fair.  Payout brings all the muscling and substance of bone from her Dam along with the eye appeal of her famous Sire.  She competed well this past summer and was appreciated in the ring for structural correctness and power.  Bred to one of the hottest sires in the breed in Executive Order, you can count on a “pay day” with Payout!

Here is a female that is very feminine and attractive up through that front 1/3.  You love this female when she’s on the move.  This female is bred to the new exciting herd bull at Clear Water Simmentals, JS Revolver.  They had a few calves out of him this past spring and are very excited to put the calves into production in the future.  She is super tame and gentle.  My little brother showed this heifer at the Ripley County Fair bringing home the Reserve Grand Champion honors.  The calf will be sired by JS Revolver 20C.

Looking for a docile sweetheart?  You have found the one.  Victoria has been puppy dog tame since we first put a halter on her.  A result of an embryo purchase from Schaeffer Show Cattle, Victoria’s full sibs have been leading sellers for the Schaeffer/Tice team.  This mating to 2015 National Champion bull CAJS Blaze of Glory should produce an excellent ¾ calf.  Victoria is structurally sound, moderately framed, easy breeding, and the money-making kind.

On the Mark

A very exciting mating by two new and upcoming animals that are sure to make a name for themselves. On the Mark might have been one of the most talked about bulls in Denver and when we saw him we knew we couldn't wait to do this mating. Miley is our decedent of the legendary K107W (The dam of Dream On) who is as thick as a bear and sound as a cat. Opportunities like this do not come around often enough to get in on the ground floor of new and upcoming genetics, we wanted to put something special in this sale, don't miss this rare offering.

C74G

Executive Order

Shelby Ison

When we had the opportunity to purchase part of CLRWTR Serena C74G we knew she would be special.  When you cross the legendary HF Serena and HOC Mr. Broker only good things come to mind.  Similar to her mother, Serena C74G has a presence that catches your eye and keeps it.  She was successful in the showring and is now showing that same greatness in the pasture.  Serena has developed into an excellent mother with her sound structure and beautifully balanced udder.  (The picture was taken within a couple days of calving.)  We thought long and hard about which bull would complement such a maternal, long bodied female and found an easy choice in the popular W/C Executive Order 8543B.  If you ask anyone, Shelby has a hard time letting go of a good one. It is by some miracle she was persuaded to offer up these embryos for someone to have the opportunity to buy into an amazing cow family.  You are buying three embryos, guaranteeing one pregnancy if work is done by a certified embryologist.  Buy these with confidence and see these progeny in the winner circle.

Meet IJSA Member Shelby Ison

Shelby has been a member of the IJSA for the past 14 years and has previously served as the IJSA President and the 2016 Indiana Simmental Queen. She has also attended the last 15 AJSA National Classics. She served as the Judging Invitational Co-chair for the Purdue Block & Bridle, Community Service Chairman of Purdue's Collegiate Cattlemen's Association, and a Director for the Indiana Junior Beef Cattle Association. She is a part of her family’s Simmental/Simsolution operation, Double Image Cattle Company, where their goal is to raise functional cattle that will be competitive in both the show ring and the pasture.

Ethan & Eli

In 2016, we had the privilege to show this heifer on the Indiana’s Finest circuit, the State Simmental show, Jr. Nationals, and the Indiana State Fair.  Everywhere this heifer went, she caught the eyes of both showman and breeders.  Being bold ribbed, free moving, level hipped, and wide based, EEC Fergie C34 doesn’t disappoint.  She was selected as Reserve Grand Percentage Bred and Owned Female at the 2016 Jr. Nationals, and stood 4th overall Bred and Owned Female for the Indiana’s Finest.  We believe that by mating her to Remington Lock N Load 54U brings to the table the most elite opportunity for any breeder or show cattle enthusiast.  Please consider these genetics for the future of your operation.  (Selling three (3) IVF Female embryos.  Guaranteeing one (1) 60 day pregnancy if work done by certified embryologist)

Meet IJSA members Ethan & Eli Shannon

He wishes to have a diverse cattle, grain, and aquaponics operation in the future. Eli is undecided about his future plans, but knows that cattle will be involved.
