Here’s your chance to own a piece of Simmental history. What is the difference between an artist print (A.P.) and the regular limited edition? Basically, just the number written in the lower left hand corner of the print. This is a tradition that dates back to the early printing presses, when the first prints were more desirable because the colors were truer. With today’s technology, the last print is the same as the first, though the tradition of numbering is still done.

This is a small edition, no more than 10 per cent of the limited edition. Because the edition is smaller, the prints are considered more valuable. Serious collectors usually go for artist proofs.

Sells unframed - you are buying the print only.

Tanker

In 1971, 3C and NLC introduced Simmental genetics into their herd; currently the run close to 800 Simmental and SimAngus pairs. You don’t last this long, get this big, and hit a lick in the business like they have without knowing a little something about a sire’s economic impact on a breeding program. Eighty percent of the improvement in a herd over time is directly attributed to bull selection, and to say the least bull production and selection is something that this crew knows a little about. Take your pick of these tested fellows raised and/or highly endorsed by a tested and accomplished outfit. The best thing about this choice is there is no wrong one here.

Sire choices: Mr. NLC Upgrade U8676, TNT Tanker U263, W/C United 956Y, Mr. NLC Avenue 3088A
